Equitable Division of Community Property

Orange County and all of California follows the community property rule. This means that property acquired during the marriage is subject to equitable division during a divorce. Any property or assets acquired before marriage is not shared. If you acquired significant assets before your marriage, we can file with the court to have them officially declared free from division, thus ensuring their safety.

Hiding Assets is Illegal
